ZEEL CFO Bharat Kedia quits
MUMBAI: ZEEL chief financial officer Bharat Kedia has resigned from the company effective 28 April. The Audit Committee / Board will consider and take appropriate decision on any interim/alternate arrangement/appointment at the ensuing meeting scheduled on 10 May.
“This is to inform you that Mr Bharat Kedia, Chief Financial Officer has resigned from the services of the Company as at the close of business on April 28, 2018,” ZEEL informed the BSE.
Kedia was appointed CFO in July 2017 to replace Mihir Modi, who has moved to a new role within the company.
Kedia is a finance professional with over 25 years of diversified experience spanning the entire gamut of finance including Taxation, Treasury, Financial Reporting with the additional responsibility of IPO, Investor Relations, Corporate Strategy, Information Technology, Procurement, HR, M&A, SAP Implementation and Legal & Compliance function.
In his previous stint at Parag Milk Foods, he played a key role in the listing of the company. He has also played an important role at Coca-Cola HBC with his strategic initiatives including driving the Non-Carbonated Drinks Business, turning around loss-making operations into profits and driving growth ahead of the industry, while expanding profit margin. He is also well known for being a strong proponent of Corporate Governance Practices at Publicis India by working closely with the Board.
Bharat is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary and has attended executive programs as part of Development in Business Finance at IMD Switzerland. He has also been conferred with one of India’s most prestigious awards for the Finance Community – the ‘CFO-100’ at nine dot nine India’s CFO-100 Awards 2015-16.
