ZEE5 to launch music reality show ‘Lock Down’ on 17 Aug
MUMBAI: The reality genre bug seems to have bitten the video on demand (VoD) platforms as well. After Amazon Prime Video, ZEEL-owned VoD platform ZEE5 is launching its first non-fiction musical show ‘Lock Down’ from 17 August.
Lockdown is a ZEE5 Original music reality show where Bollywood artists and digital sensations are locked down to create music videos within 24 hours. Bollywood artists Badshah, Kailash Kher, Raftaar, Sachin-Jigar will collaborate with digital sensations like Jonita Gandhi, Shirley Setia, T Bridge to create epic music videos.
The show will bring together 20 artists from different genres together on one platform. The show produced by One Digital Entertainment and Afterhours will pair together two artists from different genres. The paired artists have to fuse their genres and create two music videos within 24 hours.
The artists belong to different genres such as Bollywood, rock, pop, rap, EDM, Sufi and digital sensations amongst others. The 20 artists to feature on the show include Badshah, Sachin-Jigar, Benny Dayal, Raftaar, Kailash Kher, Raja Kumari, Jonita Gandhi, Harrdy Sandhu, Neha Bhasin, Monali Thakur, Mickey Singh, Shirley Setia, Bryden-PArth and T Bridge amongst others.
