Zee TV extends four fiction shows to six days a week

MUMBAI: Hindi GEC Zee TV is expanding its weekly programming hours by extending its four prime-time shows to six days a week from 15 December.

The broadcaster has decided to extend ‘Yeh Teri Galiyaan’, ‘Manmohini’, ‘Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega’, and ‘Tujhse Hai Rabta’ from Monday to Saturday.

The four shows earlier aired five days a week from Monday to Friday. These shows air between 7 to 8.30 pm.

Zee TV’s primetime starts at 7 pm with ‘Yeh Teri Galiyaan’ and stretches all the way till 11 pm with ‘Aap Ke Aa Jane Se’. The broadcaster has four hours of original content during the weekdays.

With the extension of the four shows, Zee TV will air two hours of original fiction content on Saturdays.

Currently, the channel is running singing reality show SaReGaMaPa in the weekend at 9 pm. In the other slots, it is airing re-runs of fiction shows.

After strengthening the prime-time and late prime-time slot, Zee TV plans to build its pre-primetime slots.

Zee TV’s flagship shows continue to be ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’. The channel is currently ranking on the second spot.
