YouTube signs up Priyanka Chopra for original series ‘If I Could Tell You Just One Thing’
MUMBAI: Alphabet-owned YouTube has signed up Priyanka Chopra for its original series ‘If I Could Tell You Just One Thing’.
The new series from Sundog Pictures will chronicle Chopra’s journey as she meets inspirational people and asks their advice on how to change the world. The actor will be globe-trotting and meet people around the world to pick up on the best advice they have to offer.
YouTube has also renewed Kevin Hart’s What the Fit?, a second season of The Slow Mo Guys’ The Super Slow Show and a new untitled show from Demi Lovato. The site is also creating a show called “Best Shot” which is backed by the NBA and famous basketball player LeBron James. It follows the New York Central High’s Blue Devil basketball team.
YouTube will also be live-streaming Hollywood actor Will Smith’s stunt of bungee-jumping from a helicopter over the Grand Canyon for a charity event. Smith will perform the stunt titled “Will Smith: The Jump Off” on his 50th birthday on September 25. The stunt will be broadcasted live.
The new content deals were announced at YouTube Brandcast event on Thursday in New York.
