Videocon d2h issues notice to remove Neo Sports, Neo Prime from 1 Jan
MUMBAI: Direct to home (DTH) operator Videocon d2h has issued a notice stating that it will remove sports channel Neo Sports (LCN 429) and Neo Prime (LCN 427) from its platform with effect from 1 January 2018.
The sports channels, which are part of Neo Sports Broadcast Network, broadcast events across sports like Football, Tennis, Golf, Racing sports, table tennis, and horse racing. However, the sports network lacks a driver property which makes it vulnerable when it comes to negotiating with distribution platforms.
Videocon d2h has issued another notice stating that Vaa Movies will be discontinued from the platform from 31 December.
Recently, the DTH operator had issued a notice to Shubh TV stating that the channel will be discontinued from the platform with effect from 27 December.
