TV Today Network Q3 total income crosses Rs 200 cr mark
MUMBAI: TV Today Network’s revenue for the quarter the ended 31st December has crossed Rs 200 crore mark. The company’s revenue has increased to Rs 205.9 crore as against Rs 192.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company’s net profit has increased to Rs 39.19 crore compared to Rs 38.72 crore. Total expenses increased to Rs 145.5 crore as against Rs 135.1 crore.
TV broadcasting segment operating profit declined to Rs 51.9 crore as against Rs 54.2 crore despite increase in revenue at Rs 170.6 crore compared to Rs 164.1 crore. FM radio broadcasting loss narrowed to Rs 2.14 crore from Rs 6.1 crore. Segment revenue jumped to Rs 7.01 crore from 6.28 crore.
The company has appointed Neera Malhotra as an Additional Independent Director of the company subject to the approval of shareholders and ministry of information & broadcasting (MIB). The term of appointment will be five years from the date of approval by MIB.
Malhotra, aged 63 years, is a graduate in office management and has over 37 years of experience in social service and business management.
She is a member of the Managing Committee of Vasant Valley School since 1990. She is on the Board of Living Media India, where she is an independent director. She has been on the Board of Living Media India since 1984. She is also a member of the Audit Committee and Nomination & Remuneration Committee of Living Media India.
