Tusshar Kapoor resigns from board of Balaji Telefilms

MUMBAI: Balaji Telefilms Non-Executive Non-Independent Director Tusshar Kapoor has resigned from the Directorship of the company on 27th March.

In its BSE filing, the company has stated, “we wish to inform you that Tusshar Kapoor, Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the Company has tendered his resignation from the office of the Director of the Company with effect from March 27,2019, due to personal reason and pre occupation.”

Balaji was incorporated as a public limited company on 29th February 2000, and its name was changed to Balaji Telefilms on 19th April 2000.

It is one of the largest content production houses across India, South Asia, South East Asia and the Middle East delivering Hindi and regional content. The brand stands on three business pillars the Television business, the Movies business, and the recently launched Digital business.
