Total TV + OOH impressions for BARC week 34 drops to 15.1 billion

MUMBAI: Total TV + OOH impressions for week 34 has dropped to 15.1 billion from 15.6 billion in the previous week, as per BARC India data. TV impressions for the week have declined to 14.9 billion compared to 15.4 billion.

In week 34, Dangal has replaced Sun TV at the top spot in across genres top 10 channels list. Sun TV has slipped to the second position. Star Plus has moved to the third spot pushing Star Maa to the fourth position. Zee TV has jumped to the fifth position pushing B4U Kadak to the eighth spot.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has re-entered the table at the sixth position as did Colors at the ninth spot. Zee Cinema and Sony Max have moved out of the table. Sony Sab and Star Vijay have fallen by a rank.

Top 10 Hindi GECs in urban + rural HSM

Zee TV and SET have jumped to the third and fourth position respectively while Sony Sab has dropped to the fifth spot. The rest of the table has remained unchanged.

Top 5 shows in U+R HSM

Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ has moved to the second spot. Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has dropped to the third position. The channel’s ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ has replaced SET’s ‘Superstar Singer Singing Ke Lal’ at the fifth spot.

Top 10 Hindi GECs in urban HSM

SET has climbed to the second position while Sony Sab has moved to the third spot. Dangal and Star Bharat have swapped positions. Star Utsav has replaced Big Magic at the eighth position while the latter has fallen to the tenth position.

Top 5 shows in urban HSM

Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ and Sony Sab’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ have entered the top 5 list. SET’s ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and ‘Superstar Singer Singing Ke Lal’ have moved out of the list.

Top 10 Hindi GECs in rural HSM

There was no change in the pecking order.

Top 5 shows in rural HSM

Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ are top two shows followed by Dangal’s ‘Mahima Shanidev Ki’, Zee TV’s ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’, and Dangal’s ‘Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein’.
