‘The Voice India’ moves from &TV to Star Plus

MUMBAI: ZEEL’s second GEC &TV’s singing reality show ‘The Voice India’ will move to Star India’s Hindi GEC Star Plus. The show will be produced by Deepak Dhar-helmed Banijay Group.

“The Voice has moved to Star Plus from &TV. The show will be produced by Banijay Group for Star,” a source close to the development told TelevisionPost.com.

&TV has aired two seasons of the show since its launch in 2015. The channel had also kids version of the show titled ‘The Voice Kids’. The first two editions of the show were produced by Endemol Shine India and Essel Vision.

The show is an adaptation of international franchise John de Mol’s ‘The Voice’ and is structured in three phases, blind auditions, battle rounds, and live performance shows.

Currently, &TV is focusing on its soon to launch homegrown singing reality show ‘Love Me India’ for Kids. Developed by Essel Vision Productions, ‘Love Me India’ will feature kids from 5 to 15years age group.

The show will be judged by Punjabi pop sensation Guru Randhawa, Himesh Reshammiya, and Neha Bhasin.
