T-Series becomes top YouTube channel globally with 90 mn subs
MUMBAI: Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has become world’s leading YouTube channel with 90 million subscribers. The channels subscription has grown by 80% compare to last year at 50 million. The channel has taken over Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie’s channel by more than 33,000 subscribers.
Last year, T-Series’ YouTube channel had crossed 50 million subscribers and its devotional channel Bhakti Sagar had 10 million subscribers which made them the second largest channel globally. In March 2018, the content company had touched 40 million subscriber base.
Currently, T-series has over 90,528,290 subscribers, while PewDiePie has a subscriber count of 90,494,295.
Bhushan Kumar posted a video message on twitter earlier this month, “There is an Indian YouTube channel on the brink of becoming World’s No.1. It has taken us a lot of effort to come this far. To take my father Mr Gulshan Kumar’s dream forward, I started this channel. Today, it belongs to you, to the entire nation. It’s a historic moment for all of us. So let’s come together and subscribe to T-Series YouTube channel and make India proud.”
The YouTube channel of T-Series was launched on 13th March 2006.
