Star Sports gears up for Premier League action

MUMBAI: Star Sports will bring live matches to football fans in India on Star Sports Select 1/ HD and Star Sports Select 2 HD/SD and Hotstar. The Premier League, which will take place from 10th August 2019 to 17th May 2020, will see Manchester City defend the title after back to back Premier League titles and winning the domestic treble in the 2018/19 season. Hero will be the Presenting Sponsor for the broadcast of the much-awaited 28th Season of the Premier League and Lenovo is the Associate Sponsor.

Star Sports has been at the forefront of delighting ardent Premier League fans in India and this year, fans can continue to enjoy Premier League action every day on Star Sports Select 1/ HD and Star Sports Select 2 HD/SD and Hotstar.

Matchday Live covers all 380 Premier League matches, with full wrap-around programming of every match broadcast, lives in the UK on weekends, Mondays and Fridays. The show will feature likes of Allan Shearer, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Tim Sherwood and more.

Fanzone: It gives fans from across the globe the unique opportunity to share their passion, express their opinions and discuss all things Premier League with one another and special studio guests. Fanzone gives fans even more ways to interact and communicate, no matter where in the world they are watching.

Premier League World: Focusing on fascinating football stories both on and off the pitch, Premier League World delivers 40 absorbing episodes. Where insights and inside tales from players and managers, past and present. As well as matters on the pitch, PL World tackles some difficult subject matter away from matchdays to provide compelling timeless viewing.

Premier League Today: Presenting and reporting to be incisive, comprehensive and welcoming. Telling viewers something they do not know and adding context to that day’s Premier League stories.

The Weekend Review: A new, live two-hour studio show covering every weekend match in detail. The Weekend Review features comprehensive match edits, the best post-match reaction and expert analysis from a high-class team of pundits and former Premier League referees. The show will have Mark Pougatch, Don Hutchison and Dion Dublin form the primary presenting team. They will be joined by one of the regular Matchday Live guests, or a current player or manager, when possible.

The Analysis Show: A 60-minute programme, The Analysis Show is our first look ahead to the weekend’s fixtures. The show will assess where each match may be won or lost and look at the wider analytical trends from across the league.

The Kelly & Wrighty Show: Kelly Cates and Ian Wright invite viewers to join them for their highly-entertaining 90-minute programme to discuss the biggest stories and exciting match-ups ahead of the weekend’s fixtures.

Fantasy Premier League: Presented by James Richardson and Jules Breach, the programme will continue to appeal to avid fantasy players and general football fans alike.
