Star Sports 1 Hindi remains most watched channel in week 26 with 126.3 cr impressions

MUMBAI: Star Sports 1 Hindi’s weekly impressions have jumped to 126.3 crore in week 26 of BARC ratings from 118.6 crore in the previous week. The Hindi sports channel has retained its position as the most watched TV channel in India across genres.

Star Vijay is the new entrant to the top 10 channels across genres. Big Magic and Sony Sab have dropped to the eighth and tenth positions respectively. Sony Entertainment Television (SET) moved up by one position to number 9.

Top 10 Hindi GECs in urban + rural HSM

The top 4 positions have remained unchanged. SET has jumped to number 5 from number 7 in the previous week. Sony Sab and Colors have fallen one position down to sixth and seventh positions respectively. Star Utsav has replaced &TV in the tenth position.

Top 5 shows in U+R HSM

Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ is the most watched show followed by Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. SET’s ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ is at the third position while Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ occupy the fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Top 10 Hindi GECs in urban HSM

SET and Sony Sab have swapped positions while the rest of the table has remained unchanged.

Top 5 shows in urban HSM

SET’s ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ has captured the top position followed by Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ is the most watched show followed by Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ is at number 4 while Sony Sab’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is at the fifth spot.

 

Top 10 Hindi GECs in rural HSM

There was no change in the pecking order in rural HSM.

Top 5 shows in rural HSM

Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ became the most watched show followed by Dangal’s ‘Mahima Shanidevi Ki’ and ‘Baba Aisi Var Dhundo’. Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ occupy the remaining two positions.
