Star Plus reclaims top spot from Zee TV in urban HSM
MUMBAI: Hindi GEC Star Plus has reclaimed the top spot in urban HSM from Zee TV in week 39 for the period ended 29 September.
According to BARC viewership data, Star Plus became No. 1 in urban markets with 38.49 crore weekly impressions with a miniscule fall of 0.5%. However, Zee TV witnessed a drop of 8.71% to 36.70 crore weekly impressions.
Colors moved up to second spot with 36.88 crore weekly impressions, despite 3.54% fall in impressions. Sony Entertainment Television maintained its fourth rank with 36.05 crore weekly impression, followed by Sony Sab at fifth with 25.85 crore weekly impressions.
While Star Bharat and Sony Pal maintained their rankings, &TV moved up to eight place followed by Zee Anmol and DD National.
Top 5 shows in urban HSM
Sony TV’s Kaun Banega Crorepati maintained its lead on the top 5 shows in Urban HSM chart for the Week 39. Zee TV followed on second and third position with Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya, respectively. Colors Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Pain in Spain moved up to fourth spot. Star Plus’ Dance+ 3 entered the list on fifth position.
Top Hindi GECs in U+R HSM
Zee Anmol maintained its top spot with 66.11 crore weekly impressions despite a 5.58% fall in its impressions. Zee TV followed on second with 62.46 crore weekly impressions, a dip of 6.95%.
Star Plus moved up to third spot with 56.65 crore weekly impressions, a growth of 2.69% while Star Bharat slipped to fourth with 56.10 crore weekly impressions, which is a drop of 3.75%.
Colors slipped to fifth rank with 55.21 crore weekly impressions, followed by Sony Pal and SET with 51.88 crore and 48.92 crore weekly impressions respectively. Rishtey, Sony Sab, DD National maintained their respective positions.
Top 5 shows in U+R HSM
Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya grabbed the first and second spot on the urban + rural HSM chart. The telecast of 3rd ODI match between India and Australia on
DD Nation ranked third. Sony TV’s Kaun Banega Crorepati was at fourth spot while Star Plus’ Dance Plus 3 entered the list on fifth.
Top Hindi GECs in Rural HSM
Zee Anmol maintained its lead in rural HSM with 51.77 crore weekly impressions, a fall of 4.47% as compared to previous week.
Sony Pal stayed on second spot with 36.25 crore weekly impressions, while Rishtey climber up to third spot with 32.07 crore weekly impressions, a growth of 7.75%. Star Bharat slipped to fourth position with 30.85 crore weekly impressions, a decline of 4.04%.
Zee TV remained at fifth rank with 25.76 crore weekly impressions followed by DD National and Star Utsav on sixth and seventh position, respectively. The remaining channels retained their positions.
Top 5 shows in Rural HSM
The telecast of 3 ODI and 4 ODI matches between India and Australia on DD National grabbed the first and second spot. Sony Pal’s Balveer slipped to third. Zee Anmol’s two show Kaala Teeka and Jamai Raja got mentioned on fourth and fifth position.
