Star Movies launches ‘That’s How It’s Done’ campaign to promote Oscar Awards

MUMBAI: English movie channel Star Movies and Star Movies Select HD have launched ‘That’s How It’s Done’ marketing campaign to promote Oscar Awards. The channels will air the show on 5 March at 5:30 am live with a repeat at 8:30 pm.

The campaign will run across mediums on-air, digital, on-ground, cinema, and radio. There will be a special screening of the most anticipated 2018 Oscar-nominated movie, where movie lovers will get to witness the cinematic excellence before anyone else in India. Winners will experience a day like never before – from tailored made tuxedos, professional makeovers to a celebrity treatment including getting mobbed by the paparazzi – because when you create an Oscar experience – #ThatsHowItsDone.

An engagement activity ‘Beat the Paparazzi’ will also be conducted on the channel’s digital platforms on the day of the Oscars® to focus on the biggest moments of the 90th Academy Awards. The activity urges viewers to watch the academy awards, keep posting pictures of the show so that they might just capture the next trend before anyone else.

The top two contestants will win an opportunity to watch the 91st Academy Awards in Hollywood next year.

Every day till the Oscars will be celebrated on Star Movies and Star Movies Select HD with Oscars themed festivals featuring Oscar-nominated movies Monday to Thursday at 7 pm. This journey will be highlighted with films like ‘Hidden Figures’, ‘Moana’ and ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.
