Star Maa to launch two new shows in afternoon slot, ropes in Nani as Bigg Boss Telugu S2 host
MUMBAI: Telugu GEC Star Maa is all set to launch to launch two new shows ‘Kante Koothurne Kanali’ and ‘Shambhaviin’ the afternoon slot from 21 May.
‘Kante Koothurne Kanali’ will telecast at 1:30 pm from Monday to Friday. The show charts the journey of a girl named Hasini and life in her marital home.
‘Shambhavi’ will telecast from Monday to Friday at 2 pm. The show depicts the story of a human who is all forgiving and a Goddess who is vengeful. Peddamma Talli devotee Jyothi is killed by her husband’s brother. The goddess steps out of the shrine to destroy everything and take revenge on the murderer. The only thing that saves the village is the cries of Jyothi’s newborn girl, Shambhavi, who evokes the maternal emotions in the Goddess.
Meanwhile, the channel has roped in ‘Natural Star’ Nani as the host for Bigg Boss Telugu Season 2. The season 2 is going to be longer with more than 100 days compared to 70 days in last season.
About 16 housemates will be locked inside a house completely cut off from the outside world, under the watchful gaze of 70 cameras that never stop rolling and millions of viewers will see housemates forge new relationships and maybe lose a few inside the house.
