Star Gold’s ‘Junglee’ premiere registers more viewership than Zee Cinema’s ‘Gully Boy’

MUMBAI: Star Gold’s ‘Junglee’ has pipped Zee Cinema’s ‘Gully Boy’ in the viewership game. Both the movies had premiered on 23rd June on the respective channels, as per BARC India ratings in week 26.

The ‘Junglee’ premiere on Star Gold notched 1.11 crore impressions while the ‘Gully Boy’ premiere Zee Cinema recorded 52.08 lakh impressions in the urban + rural HSM.

In terms of top 5 channels, B4U Kadak replaced Zee Cinema in the number 3 position while the latter slipped to the fourth spot. &pictures replaced B4U movies at the fifth position while the top 2 remained unchanged.

In urban HSM, ‘Junglee’ and Gully Boy’ recorded 68.8 lakh and 38.19 lakh impressions. Star Gold and Sony Max captured four spots in the top 5 programmes chart leaving the fifth position for Zee Cinema.

As far as the top 5 channels in urban HSM is concerned, the pecking order remained unchanged.

Star Gold’s ‘Junglee’ garnered 42.89 lakh impressions while ‘Gully Boy’ didn’t figure in the top 5 list.

Sony Max and Star Gold moved up to the second and the third position respectively while B4U Movies dropped to the fourth position.
