MUMBAI: The decks have been cleared for Star India to launch its Kannada sports channel as the ministry of information and broadcasting (MIB) has cleared the broadcaster’s name change application.

The broadcaster had six language feeds for IPL 2018. For the finals, it has also added Marathi and Malayalam feed taking the total language feeds to eight.
