Star Bharat’s new show to explore the life of Chandra Shekhar Azad

MUMBAI: Hindi GEC Star Bharat will launch a new show titled ‘Chandrashekhar’ based on the life of freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad. The launch date and timing of the show has not yet been revealed.

Produced by writer Anirudh Pathak, the show is about a young boy ‘Chandrashekar’ who stares fear in the face, living life in his own terms. He fights off his adversaries with élan giving the audience an inspirational character to look up to.

With this show, the channel celebrates the various facets of the life of the Commander-in-chief, Chandra Shekhar Azad.

After over three years of research, the production house wants to give a realistic and cinematic experience to the audience. It will be a finite series, of around 100-120 episodes.

Currently, Star Bharat has five shows in the prime-time ‘Jiji Maa’, ‘Kya Haal Mr. Paanchal’, ‘Nimki Mukhiya’, ‘Saam Daam Dand Bhed’ and ‘Jai Kanhaiyya Lal Ki’. The prime-time begins at 7.30 pm and ends at 10 pm.
