Star Bharat to air new season of ‘Savdhaan India’ from 18 July

MUMBAI: After abruptly pulling it off-air in March 2018, Star Bharat is bringing back its tent-pole show ‘Savdhaan India’ in a new avatar from 18 July, every Monday to Saturday at 10 pm. The channel had pulled off the show after facing criticism from viewers over the depiction of violence.

The new season will focus on crimes which are a result of overindulgence in technology. The new edition is titled “Waqt Ke Saath Apraadhi Hua upgrade, Aap Bhi ho Jaayiye up to date” and each episode will expose a myriad of dangers around only because we are not cautious enough.

Sushant Singh who has been an integral part of the show since its inception will be creating awareness about new age crimes as the host. ‘Savdhaan India’ was the only show that was retained by Star Bharat post its rebranding from Life OK. Launched in 2012, the crime drama has recorded more than 2000 episodes and is the longest running series based on the episode count.

Before going off-air, the show has featured seven seasons which were hosted by several actors Gaurav Chopra, Mohnish Behl, Pooja Gaur, Hiten Tejwani, Siddharth Shukla, Divya Dutta, Saurabh Raj Jain and Sakshi Tanwar.
