SPNI bags 14 awards at PromaxBDA India awards 2019
MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has bagged fourteen metals – eight gold and six silver in various categories at PromaxBDA India Awards 2019.
With six metals, the Hindi General Entertainment Channel (GEC) of the network – Sony Entertainment Television (SET) emerged as the category winner. Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) bagged four metals for Best Direction, Best Copywriting, Best Launch Campaign – Out Of House and Best On-Air Programme Campaign.
Sony BBC Earth’s Blue Planet II TV Premiere Campaign was awarded the most outstanding marketing initiative and was also recognized as the Best On-Air Programme campaign. The English cluster won five metals for the exceptionally creative work done by Sony PIX and AXN.
Additionally, the sports cluster won a gold and a silver metal for their Meri Doosri Country campaign’s promo.
The PromaxBDA Awards honours and celebrates outstanding achievements in entertainment marketing from around the world. The award leads the global community of those passionately engaged in the marketing, promotion and design of television and video content on all platforms.
