SonyLIV beefs up content line-up with the launch of three new web originals

MUMBAI: A deserted hotel, a doctor lost in an estranged hospital and a group of vigilantes trying to seek answers, SonyLIV is home to an epic cocktail of drama and thrill this month with the launch of three new originals – ‘Heartbreak Hotel’, ‘Holycross’ and ’16’.

Starring the most popular faces of Indian showbiz and centred on unique themes, all three shows promise a perfect monsoon treat to binge on and stay glued to the platform.

Starring an ensemble cast of Kushal Punjabi, Viraf Patel, Saloni Khanna, Karan Vir Mehra, Flora Saini, and Vivek Muskaran amongst others, ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ is an episodic series about love and its many manifestations set around the Navras or the Nine Emotions. Set in a secluded, sleepy town like Matheran, this hotel is home to unique individuals hit by unrequited love.

However, that’s not the case with Dr. Rhea in ‘Holycross’ who is stuck in a weird hospital premise. As she comes across instances she can’t explain, she tries to find answers. But as they say, truth is stranger than fiction. How will she save humanity? Join Rhea’s journey transcending time and space only on SonyLIV.

But there’s more to this madness. City Police is out on the hunt for a gang of rebels who call themselves 16. Undeterred and brave, these youngsters have taken it upon themselves to lend justice to all those who have been wronged. Corruption, murder, rape, nothing is beyond their scrutiny. Starring Ravi Kishan, Ali Haji, Vani Soon and Richa Mukherjee, 16, will keep you on the edge of your seats for sure.

In addition to these, the newly-launched series ‘Gullak’ (piggy bank) is also live on SonyLIV that explores the imperfect relationships and aspirations of the Mishra family. Within the small confines of their home, their lives are no less than a medley of emotions, arguments, and laughter, all rolled into one.
