Siti Networks appoints Deepak Mittal, Bhanu Pratap Singh as additional directors
MUMBAI: Multi system operator (MSO) Siti Networks has appointed Deepak Mittal and Bhanu Pratap Singh as Additional Directors in the category of Independent Directors with effect from 1st April, 2019.
The company has also said that Independent Directors Brijendra K. Syngal and Vinod Kumar Bakshi have stepped down from the Board of the Company with effect from 31st March, 2019
In its BSE filing, the company said that Brijendra K. Syngal and Vinod Kumar Bakshi’s have voluntarily stepped down from the Board of the Company with effect from the close of business on March 31, 2019 as their current age exceeds 75 years.
Deepak Mittal is an engineering graduate from IIT Delhi, and currently the CEO & Co-Founder of IntelliGrape Software (TO THE NEW). Mittal brings 20 years of industry experience and 10 years of entrepreneurship experience with him. He founded IntelliGrape Software (TO THE NEW) in 2008. TO THE NEW has grown more than 30 times in the last 7 years from 25 people to 750-people strong and presence in 5 different countries. He has acquired and integrated many companies in India and South East Asia (SEA).
Bhanu Pratap Singh graduated from Duke University with a BA in Economics. Thereafter, he joined JP Morgan Chase as an investment banking analyst in the New York office covering the power sector. He did his MBA from the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College, USA. Mr.Singh worked as an MBA summer intern at Nomura Securities in the New York office in the Debt Private Placement Group.
After graduation from his MBA programme, he worked in the Leveraged Finance Group of Citigroup in New York. In his time there he worked on structuring and financing leveraged loans and high yield bonds for large US corporates and Private Equity firms. Beginning his entrepreneurial journey, Singh moved back to India to found the Bhavani Group focusing on small hydro power projects in Himachal Pradesh. Shree Bhavani Power Projects Pvt. Ltd. commissioned Manglad 5MW small hydro project in 2010 and it is generating power since then.
Earlier, the board of Siti Networks had approved the appointment of Suresh Arora as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director with effect from 29th March.
Suresh Arora, aged about 55 years, is a commerce graduate from Delhi University and also holds Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Symbiosis, Pune.
Arora has rich experience of about 34 years in various fields and in particular Finance & Accounts, Export/Import procedures & documentation and sales & marketing. His last assignment was with Pan India Network Limited (PINL) at a senior position in Sales and Marketing Department. PINL is an Essel Group Company and is engaged in the business operations of Online/Paper Lottery in the state of Punjab.
