SHAREit partners comedian Suresh Menon’s Comedy One

MUMBAI: After acquiring South Indian movie streaming service Fastfilmz, content platform SHAREit has joined hands with renowned comedian Suresh Menon’s company Comedy One (One Network) to get all content of One Network. Both partners will be working on new formats.

Besides this collaboration, SHAREit also collaborated with Times Music a month ago. These partnerships with all the local content generators and aggregators has been finalised with an aim to become the largest source of entertainment for all their users in India.

Commenting on the partnership, SHAREit India MD Jason Wang said, “Due to the phenomenal rise of 4G network and deeper internet penetration across India, there is a boost in video content consumption especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Today’s millennials and Gen Z are always looking for engaging and innovative content and with this partnership, we aim to enable our users to access quality content that they can then access anytime and anywhere. Our collaboration with Comedy One will help us provide our users with local content that they can enjoy watch at their leisure.”

Popular comedian Suresh Menon from One Network Studios (Comedy One) shared his excitement about the collaboration, “Comedy One is excited about this collaboration with SHAREit. Comedy One has always catered to the masses and we are together hoping to create a platform for youngsters. SHAREit will have access to the One Network Studios and we will have access to their 1.5 billion subs.”

SHAREit has over 1.5 billion users globally and has a huge user base in India. The app has reached out to more than 200 countries and regions and it is currently available in 39 languages. It is the most preferred platform for data sharing and content acquisition among internet users worldwide.
