SET remains no. 1 in urban HSM for second week in a row
MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has retained the Hindi GEC crown in urban HSM for second in a week in a row. According to BARC India data, SET’s weekly impressions increased 2.2% to 45.8 crore for week 37 from 44.8 crore in the previous week.
The channel’s viewership has been on an upswing on the back of non-fiction properties like Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) season 10 and Indian Idol season 10 besides from fiction shows ‘Mere Sai’ and ‘Vignaharta Ganesh’.
Star Plus followed SET closely at the second position with 45.5 crore impressions. Colors moved up to the third spot pushing Zee TV to number 4. Star Bharat and Sony Sab swapped positions while the bottom four remained unchanged.
Top 5 shows in Urban HSM
Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ replaced Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at the second spot. Colors’ ‘Dance Deewane’ replaced Sony Sab’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ at the fifth position.
Top 10 Hindi GEC in U+R HSM
Star Plus jumped to the fourth position while Star Bharat dropped to the fourth spot. Colors moved to the sixth position while SET slipped. Sony Pal fell to the seventh position while other channels maintained their respective positions.
Top 5 shows in U+R HSM
Colors ‘Naagin 3’ stayed at the top of the chart followed by Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’. ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ on Zee Anmol grabbed the third rank while the same show on Zee TV got the fourth rank. Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ maintained its fifth rank.
Top 10 Hindi GECs in Rural HSM
The chart witnessed only one change as Star Bharat moved up to the fifth position while Dangal TV slipped to the sixth rank.
Top 5 shows in Rural HSM
Zee Anmol’s ‘Mahek’ moved up to the second position whereas Sony Pal’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ slipped to the third spot. Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ entered the list at the fourth spot as Star Utsav’s ‘Rabba Ve’ fell to the fifth rank. Sony Pal’s ‘Baalveer’ went out of the list.
