MUMBAI: Content studio and music label Saregama has launched the Bengali variant of portable radio device Carvaan. This will be the second regional variant of the device after Tamil.

Carvaan Bengali features 5000 pre-loaded songs comprising 4000 songs from legendary Bengali artists, cutting across different genres, and 1000 evergreen Hindi melodies. It is available for Rs 5990 at all major e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart and Paytm. It is also available online on and in other leading electronic outlets.

The songs are curated through extensive Big Data analytics that runs nearly 17 billion data points that are generated annually every month across all Saregama platforms.
