Rishtey Cineplex scales new height in week 11 with Nidahas Trophy broadcast

MUMBAI: Hindi movie channel Rishtey Cineplex has scaled new heights on the back of Nidahas Trophy 2018 telecast, as per BARC India data for week 11.

The channel’s weekly impressions have zoomed 30% to 70.78 crore impressions compared to 54.59 crore impressions in the previous week in urban + rural HSM. In week 10, Rishtey Cineplex had attained the numero uno position to the cricket telecast.

Sony Wah has jumped ahead of Sony Max to bag the second position. Sony Max has been pushed to the third position followed by Zee Anmol Cinema and Zee Cinema.

India vs Bangladesh match was the most watched programme in the genre with 1.58 crore impressions followed by Sri Lanka vs India (1.38 crore impressions), and Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh (1.13 crore impressions). At the fourth position was the wraparound show while Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh match was at the fifth position.

In urban HSM, Rishtey Cineplex jumped to second position pushing Star Gold to the fourth spot. Sony Wah replaced Movies OK at the fifth spot.

Four of the top 5 programmes were from Nidahas Trophy. India vs Bangladesh and India vs Sri Lanka were the most watched games in urban HSM.

There was no change in the pecking order as Rishtey Cineplex led the chart.

Nidahas Trophy dominated the rural HSM top 5 programming chart.
