Pittie Group forays into digital news with Latestly

MUMBAI: Aditya Pittie’s Pittie Group has forayed into news media with the launch of a news portal Latestly. The website is currently under beta version.

A new company Latestly Media has been floated to launch the new website. The company with a paid-up capital of Rs 1 lakh was incorporated on 15 November. It has two directors Aditya Pittie and Rishab Barar.

Latestly, which is targeted at the millennials, focuses on all latest and breaking events across the globe, providing information on the trend related stories to individuals across different sub-genres such as sport, entertainment, India and world news, lifestyle, technology, automobile, social and human values, with an all-important flavor of latest trends on social media.

The website’s management team is backed by leading professionals from various industries.

It aims to provide cutting-edge content which relates to the reader where the focus is mainly on trending events, high social and viral subjects offering a variety of moods to engage users.

Latestly has a headcount of 15-50 employees.

The Pittie Group also has interests in TV broadcasting through Shubh TV and Epic TV. The two are run separately by different companies.
