&pictures to launch ‘Josh 2.0’ movie festival on 26 Jan

MUMBAI: Hindi movie channel &pictures is launching a day-long movie festival ‘Josh 2.0’ on 26th January from 9:30 am onwards. Paying a tribute to the real heroes for their remarkable contribution will be Bollywood’s reel heroes who will showcase the essence of bravery, determination, and resilience that personifies them.

Be it Vicky Kaushal as a brave heart soldier in URI, or Salman Khan who put his nation before himself as Bharat, John Abraham as the vigilante fighting against corruption in Satyameva Jayate, or Vidyut Jamval with the never say die attitude in Commando 2, or be it Ayushmann Khurrana being a crusader in his fight against injustice in Article 15.

Commending the spirit of heroism and passion with full Josh at 9:30 am will be John Abraham’s Parmanu – The story of Pokhran that narrates the story of India’s landmark covert operation that put India on the global map as the nuclear superpower.

At 12 pm with ‘Uri-The Surgical Strike’, witness the brave heart soldier, Major Vihaan Singh Shergill lead the surgical strike, a historic moment in the Indian history. Donning another heroic avatar, John Abraham takes centre stage in the action thriller ‘Satyameva Jayate’ where he relentlessly fights to end corruption. The movie will air at 2:50 pm.

Fuelling this patriotic spark towards the second half of the day is the action movie ‘Commando 2: The Black Money Trail’ which showcases the fight against corruption.

Next in line at 8 pm is Salman Khan’s heart-warming film ‘Bharat’ that traces India’s post-independence history from the perspective of a common man. The finale movie of Josh 2.0 is the critically acclaimed film ‘Article 15’ with Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead where he leads the fight for truth, justice, and equality which are fundamentals of our constitution.
