Netplus Broadband launches free Wi-Fi service at Golden Temple

MUMBAI: Fastway Transmissions-owned Netplus Broadband in association with Amritsar Smart City Limited (ASCL) has launched free Wi-Fi services at the Heritage street en route to Golden Temple.

It is estimated that over 1 lakh visitors use the Heritage Street per day to reach Golden Temple Complex and Jallianwala Bagh. The free high-speed Wi-Fi shall be provided along the 1.2 km stretch from the Partition Museum up to Golden Temple Complex entrance. Netplus Broadband shall provide free Wi-Fi Services to every visitor.

Netplus Broadband Group CEO Prem Ojha said, “These are early stages of the Wi-Fi ecosystem. We are constantly looking at expansion options and plan to offer free wifi at 100+ prominent locations in Northern India.
