N18: Avinash Kaul gets additional responsibility of sales, Rahul Kansal to spearhead marketing

MUMBAI: Media conglomerate Network18 has made key elevations at the top level. Network18 COO Avinash Kaul has got the added responsibility of sales. The development comes close on the heels of Network18 president revenue Joy Chakraborty’s departure.

Rahul Kansal, who had joined the company as a brand advisor, will take charge of the overall marketing for the network. Priyanka Kaul, who had joined as president – marketing and special projects, will now take over the responsibility of broadcast focus & branded content.

Both Kaul and Kansal had joined the company in March-April this year.

It is pertinent to note that Network18 had elevated Avinash Kaul as the COO in March. As COO, he oversees the operations of all national and regional news channels. He is also the managing director of A+E Networks | TV18.

Avinash joined TV18, one of India’s leading television broadcast networks in mid-2014 and since then has been responsible for the overall Profit & Loss responsibilities of all the brands managed by him.
