MIB to discuss pending issues related to TV channel licences on 30 Apr
MUMBAI: The ministry of information and broadcasting (MIB) will be holding a meeting with all broadcasting companies to discuss pending issues concerning Uplinking and Downlinking of satellite TV channels in India. The meeting will be held on 30th April at 11 am at Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.
“It has been decided to hold a meeting on 30.04.2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the chamber of JS (P&A) i.e. Room No. 552, Fifth Floor, ‘A’ Wing, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi to discuss pending issues concerning Uplinking and Downlinking of satellite TV channels in India,” the ministry said in its notice to all broadcasting companies.
The ministry also stated that authorised representatives of the companies whose proposals are pending in this ministry may participate in the meeting, along with the letter of authority appointing them as ‘authorised representative’.
The issues proposed to be taken up by the companies during the meeting should be sent to the ministry latest by 24th April through email at the following email addresses: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com.
