Originally produced for Sky’s Pick channel in the UK by Woodcut Media, World’s Most Evil Killers (S1, S2 & S3 (currently in production) all 20 x 60’) investigates the lives and crimes of some of the world’s most ruthless murderers, as told through compelling firsthand interviews, narration, archival footage and stylized reconstruction.
The docuseries has featured a Milwaukee clown cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer, Los Angeles “Nightstalker” Richard Ramirez and an international who’s who list of evil including the notorious Cary Stayner, Leonard Lake, ‘and Dorthea Puente.
Viewers get to hear directly from the detectives, crime reporters, relatives and even survivors who were immersed in these horrific crimes. Criminologists and psychologists also are on hand to offer their expert opinions on what drove these perpetrators’ insatiable appetites for murder and why, often after so many decades, they still evoke such fear and fascination from the chilling legacies they have left behind.
Jo Frost On Killer Kids, produced for Crime + Investigation (A+E Networks) in the UK by Woodcut Media, Krempelwood Entertainment and Nanny Jo Productions, follows Jo Frost – who has worked with families in the parental area for over 30 years – as she investigates the cases of Britain’s killer kids.
The series features four different children as Frost looks to discover whether their murderous personalities stem from nature, making them natural-born killers, or nurture. On Frost’s path to the truth, she interviews the families and friends of the victims as well as criminologists, psychologists, journalists and detectives involved with each case to get to the core of the story and find out if the children are, in fact, born evil.
