India TV chairman Rajat Sharma re-elected as president of News Broadcasters Association
MUMBAI: News Broadcasters Association (NBA) has once again elected India TV chairman & Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma as the president. The NBA board meeting was held today immediately after the 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The other members on the NBA Board are News24 Broadcast India CMD Anuradha Prasad Shukla, Times Network MD & CEO M.K. Anand, Mathrubhumi Printing & Publishing Joint MD M.V. Shreyams Kumar, TV18 Broadcast MD Rahul Joshi, ABP News Network CEO Avinash Pandey, Eenadu Television Director I. Venkat, TV Today Network vice-chairperson & MD Kalli Purie Bhandal, and NDTV Editorial Director Sonia Singh.
The NBA represents the private television news & current affairs broadcasters. It is the collective voice of the news & current affairs broadcasters in India. It is an organisation funded entirely by its members.
The NBA presently has 27 leading news and current affairs broadcasters (comprising 70 news and current affairs channels) as its members. The NBA presents a unified and credible voice before the government, on matters that affect the growing industry.
