ICC ropes in Little Dot Studios to manage its YouTube channel during WC
MUMBAI: Cricket’s governing body the International Cricket Council (ICC) has entered into a partnership with Little Dot Studios. The company will manage the ICC’s official YouTube channel during the on-going Cricket World Cup. Little Dot Studios’ mandate includes optimising match highlights during the World Cup.
ICC digital product manager Barry McAdams said, “The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is the pinnacle 50-over event in the international cricket calendar. Our digital video coverage for the 2019 event in England and Wales is reflective of that and we are excited to work with Little Dot Studios to help us manage the official ICC YouTube channel as we aim to bring cricket’s one billion fans closer to the event than ever before.”
Little Dot Studios senior partnerships manager, sport Rory Rigney said: “We know how much demand there is for premium cricket content on YouTube, having helped other cricket bodies deliver such great success stories, and there is nothing bigger in cricket than the ICC Cricket World Cup.
“We are thrilled to be working with the ICC and hugely confident of growing viewing and engagement around World Cup content, and ultimately the ICC brand, to larger audiences around the world.”
