Hotstar adds documentary film ‘Amoli’ to its offering
MUMBAI: Star India’s video streaming platform Hotstar has added a documentary film ‘Amoli’ to its content library. The documentary produced by Culture Machine’s female-centric YouTube channel Blush focusses on the ugly business sexual exploitation and child trafficking.
The documentary is available in two languages – Hindi and English. The Hindi language documentary has been voiced by Rajkummar Rao whereas the English one has been narrated by Vidya Balan.
Produced by Culture Machine, the show highlights one of ugliest businesses – the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children. It features shocking truths about the lesser known business of child sex trade in India.
The film is threaded together by spine-chilling personal accounts of survivors of the trade. The film explores the inner workings of this business that has come to engulf every village and city of our nation.
