Hathway appoints Sitendu Nagchaudhuri as CFO

MUMBAI: Hathway Cable and Datacom has appointed Sitendu Nagchaudhuri as the chief financial officer (CFO) with effect from 2 July. He replaces Vineet Garg who had resigned from the company with effect from 15 May.

Nagchaudhuri, aged 49 years, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant by profession. He brings with him more than 27 years of diverse experience in the field of Corporate Finance, Commercial and Strategy Leadership with Fortune 500 MNCs & leading Indian enterprises in diverse sectors like Specialty Chemicals (Navin Fluorine International LTD, Akzo Nobel &LC.I.); Oil & Gas (BP), Lubricants (Castrol), FMCG (Procter & Gamble) & Infrastructure (Kesoram Industries Ltd).

He possesses enriched expertise over a wide range of areas including Strategic Financial Planning & Performance Management, Business Partnering in Enterprise Strategy Development & Execution, Financial Control & Compliance, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Treasury, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Enterprise & Operational Restructuring including Process Re-engineering, M&A, Investor Relations Management, Stakeholder Interface Management with the Board, Auditors, Bankers, Insurance, Statutory Authorities etc. and Financial Management of Subsidiaries & Joint Ventures and Project Management.

His overseas stints include heading Corporate Finance for British Petroleum Middle East in Dubai, for all the Refining & Marketing Segment (Downstream) Businesses of B.P. in the Middle East & South Asia Region and later as a Program Head in the Group Finance Strategy Function, based at the B.P. pie H.Q. in London, leading development & implementation of one of its Global Programs.

His last assignment was with Navin Fluorine International Limited as Chief Financial Officer. The Co. operates in the Specialty Fluoro-Chemicals space, having plants in Gujarat & M.P., including a cGMP CRAMS facility, as well as global footprint in the U.K., U.S. & Asia Pacific.
