Gozoop retains KKR’s digital mandate for third year in a row
MUMBAI: Integrated marketing agency Gozoop has retained the digital mandate for IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders for the third year in a row. As part of the mandate, the agency will be responsible for the digital & content creation duties for the brand.
Over the next two months, Gozoop will be working with KKR to ensure that the brand breaks through the clutter of IPL communications and engages their audience with some unique social media activations, campaigns, and real-time fan engagement during matches.
Gozoop will also be working with KKR on a range of video offerings starting with the pre-season camp and extending throughout the season. Since there was an exceptional response to KKR’s Merchandise items last season, the team has also launched their own E-Commerce store, becoming one of the few Sports Teams in India to do so.
Gozoop has been working with KKR for the last three years across different areas and fruits of the association are clearly visible as KKR is the most followed Sports Team in the country today with over 20 Million fans across all social media platforms combined. Before partnering with Kolkata Knight Riders, Gozoop was the digital agency on record for Mumbai Indians.
In the past, Gozoop has been responsible for crafting and executing IPL campaigns for Kolkata Knight Riders such as #AmiKKR and Dus ki Dahaad not just on social media, but key offline touch points as well.
