Firstpost appoints Anurag Iyer as the head – revenue & strategy
MUMBAI: Digital news brand Firstpost has onboarded Anurag Iyer as the Head – Revenue & Strategy. Anurag’s responsibilities at Firstpost will include managing the revenue and brand solution strategy of all brands which include, Firstpost.com, Tech2, Firstpost Studios and Faking News.
In addition to that, he will also look at how strategically these brands can be built to connect with its audiences across social and other platforms and how brands can then leverage this strength.
Anurag began his professional journey over a decade ago and has since worked with some of the biggest brands in the industry to build scalable IPs and oversee content creation across digital and other mediums.
He started his career with Zee Music, ETC and went on to work with Network18, Times television’s international business news network and led various on-ground and on-air engagements.
Anurag was also a part of the core team at Bloomberg|Quint, India’s premium business news brand. He has also successfully launched large-scale digital properties for #fame – a one-stop live video streaming destination, and one of the country’s most celebrated startup.
