Fastway partners with China’s ZTE to bring next-gen IPTV services to India
MUMBAI: Multi system operator (MSO) Fastway Transmissions has partnered with Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer ZTE to bring next-generation Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) services to India.
Fastway Transmissions is the fifth largest MSO in the country with its internet arm Netplus Broadband available in 163 cities across North India where the service provider is offering FTTH services.
The IPTV service would facilitate speeds up to 10 gigabits in the broadband segment alongside providing IPTV & many smart home solutions to the users.
Speaking about the partnership, Fastway Transmissions Group CEO Prem Ojha said, “This partnership with ZTE is in line with our strategy to launch converged services in India. The entire plan will consist of FTTH broadband services, IPTV, OTT & Voice Services along with smart home solutions. All these services which Netplus will be offering to its users will be driven on FTTH Fiber.”
Speaking about the services, Ojha said that Fastway IPTV and OTT services allow users to access all entertainment services easily by streaming them on a bigger screen.
“One of the areas where Fastway is going to emphasise on with its new offerings is the use of smart home solutions. Using the FTTH services, users will be able to take hold of their surveillance cameras, smart connected TV, smart plugs, Alarms, Video Doorbells and more,” Ojha noted.
He further said that all these offers will be available to the users at a very attractive and reasonable price.
