DSport, Cricbuzz, Dream 11 distance themselves from PSL in wake of Pulwama terror attack
MUMBAI: Sports channel DSport, gaming platform Dream11 and cricket website Cricbuzz have stopped the coverage of Pakistan Super League T20 tournament in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack on 14th February which led to the death of 44 CRPF personnels.
The fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League began on the same day of the attack.
According to a media report, DSport was expected to stop the telecast of PSL in India from the second day of the league but due to some technical problems it was not able to do so. However, DSport stopped the broadcast of the league from the fifth game onwards which was played on 16th February.
Cricbuzz has also stopped the coverage of PSL and has pulled out all the current scorecards and news articles related to this season of the league.
Sports gaming platform Dream 11 has also stopped the fantasy games related to the PSL matches.
