Discovery Jeet to air Ram Kapoor’s ‘Comedy High School’ from 17 Feb

MUMBAI: Discovery Communications India’s Hindi GEC Discovery Jeet will air popular television actor Ram Kapoor’s ‘Comedy High School’ from 17 February. The launch episode of the show will also feature Salman Khan.

‘Comedy High School’ will feature theme-based episodes, showcasing light-hearted take on society, culture, education and current affairs through a classroom-based setup. The show’s cast includes Ram, Gopal Dutt, Paritosh Tripathi, Krishna Bhatt, Jasmeet Bhatia and Deepak Dutta.

Apart from the comedy show, Discovery Jeet’s content slate consists of at least eight original shows namely ‘Swami Baba Ramdev: The Untold Story’, ‘Saragarhi – India’s Bravest Day’, ‘Gabru: The Birth of Hip Hop’, ‘Gangs of Mumbai’, ‘Anjaan’, ‘Khan No 1’, ‘Mere Papa Hero Hiralal’ and ‘Shaadi Jasoos’.

Targeted at 15+ male audiences, the channel will launch on 12 February. It plans to have at least five hours of fresh programming every day.
