Discovery, Animal Planet to showcase documentary ‘Terra’ on 22 March
MUMBAI: Discovery Communications India has acquired from Bomanbridge Media the epic award-winning documentary ‘Terra’, which is all set to premiere on 22nd March at 8 pm on Discovery, Discovery HD and Animal Planet, Animal Planet HD.
‘Terra’ is curated by many wildlife filmmakers from around the world, all recognised for their talent in a specific field or region, behavior or living group and yet it is not a wildlife documentary or a militant investigative documentary.
It is a thought-provoking documentary on the human species and its relationship with other living beings. A 90-minute documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand & Michael Pitiot, produced by Hope Production, Terra is a tribute to the human race, clearly showing that we are still capable of changing our future, just by looking differently at life.
“It has been our endeavor to bring the best of documentaries from across the world on Discovery and Animal Planet for our discerning audiences. The premiere of Terra follows acclaimed movies such as Above & Beyond: Nasa’s Journey To Tomorrow, First Man, Ghost Of The Mountains and 24/7 Wild which have been showcased on our network in the recent past,” said, Discovery Communications India Vice President, Premium & Digital Networks Zulfia Waris.
