Dharma Productions ventures into digital content production
MUMBAI: Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has launched a digital content company called Dharmatic Entertainment. The company will now create digital content for digital channels.
Dharma Productions head of creative development Somen Mishra will be the head of fictional content at Dharmatic. Former NDTV journalist Aneesha Baig will spearhead the non-fiction content.

Dharma Productions is one of India’s top film production house. Led by Karan Johar, the company was founded by his father Late Shri Yash Johar in 1976, with its first production venture titled ‘Dostana’ starring Amitabh Bachchan.
Since Karan Johar’s directorial debut film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, the company has gone on to produce more than 35 films which include a series of blockbusters and critically acclaimed films like ‘ Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, 2 States & Kapoor & Sons’.
