Deepak Dhar-helmed Banijay Asia becomes exclusive Talpa rep for Indian market

MUMBAI: Talpa Global has inked an exclusive production deal with Banijay Asia, a Banijay Group company, for the Indian market. Through the deal, the newly created Banijay Asia will exclusively represent and produce Talpa Global’s entire format portfolio in India.

Among the Talpa formats Banijay Asia will be representing are Divided, Dating in the Dark and The Voice. The Voice India, for which A.R. Rahman serves as a mentor to contestants, recently launched on Star Channel in the region.

Talpa Global MD Kim Dingler said, “By working together with Banijay Asia, headed up by Deepak Dhar with whom we already have an excellent track record, we can further develop and define our footprint in this key growth market.
