Dailyhunt launches live TV service in partnership with YuppTV
MUMBAI: News aggregation platform Dailyhunt has launched a live TV service and has partnered with over the top (OTT) platform YuppTV to power the new service.
As part of the association, YuppTV’s South-Asian and regional content will be accessible via Live TV to Dailyhunt customers. The Live TV service is going to provide over 130 channels in 9 languages across various genres.
Talking about the launch, Dailyhunt Founder and CEO Virendra Gupta said, “Live TV is a critical element of our user’s current content consumption. Gupta noted that the TV Most of the 180 million strong TV households have only one television set but multiple mobile phones.
By offering live TV service, the company wants to make Dailyhunt the preferred destination for a user’s regional language News, Video (VOD) & TV consumption on mobile by extending the established behaviour of TV watching to individual mobile and marrying it with great content.

Live TV will look to leverage these AI elements to pattern-recognition for Live TV consumption to enable a truly personalised experience.
