Netflix is rapidly doubling down on its content creation efforts in the country. The content catalogue in the country has more than doubled when one looks at both original and licensed titles. The basic aim is to draw on the richness of content creators.

PVR seeks shareholders’ nod to raise Rs 750 cr via issue of securities

Multiplex chain operator PVR is planning to raise up to Rs 750 crore through the issue of securities to qualified institutional buyers. The proposal is subject to the approval of the shareholders.
