The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology (IT) has asked the ministry of information and broadcasting (MIB) to regulate the duration of ads aired by TV channels in order to protect the consumer interest.
Hyderabad-based digital entertainment company Silly Monks Entertainment is planning to Rs 15.12 crore from its initial public offer (IPO), which would open for subscription on 5 January and close on 10 January.
The ministry of information and broadcasting (MIB) has asked broadcasters to make online applications for change of name/logo and foreign remittance proposals through Broadcast Seva portal.
