Colors to replace 'Dil Se Dil Tak' with 'Laado 2' from 6 Nov

MUMBAI: Hindi GEC Colors is all set to bring back its fiction show ‘Na Aana Is Des Laado’ for the second season after a hiatus of almost five years.

The second season titled ‘Laado 2’ will premiere on 6 November and will air Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm. It will replace the Shashi-Sumeet Productions romantic drama ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’.

‘Laado 2’ will take the legacy of the show forward showcasing the progress of its most renowned character Ammaji.

Produced by Dhaval Gada and Shankutalam films, the new season will feature Meghna Malik, Shashank Vyas, Avika Gor, Palak Jain, Adhvik Mahajan and Kanwar Dhillon in the lead role.

Launched in 2009, ‘Na Aana Is Des Laado’ featured Meghna Malik, Aditya Redij, Natasha Sharma, Simran Kaur and Vaishnavi Dhanraj as lead characters.

Colors will also launch a new non-fiction show ‘Entertainment Ki Raat’. Produced by Optimystix, the show will be hosted by Aditya Narayan, Ravi Dubey, and Deepika Singh. The channel has not yet revealed the launch date and format of the show.

By early next year, Colors will also host the second season of its first interactive singing reality show ‘Rising Star.’ Like its debut season, the second edition produced by Optimystic Entertainment India will feature talent from different age group who will perform solo, duet, trio, or a group act live on the stage of Rising Star.

The rules of the show are not yet mentioned, however, the auditions for the show have already begun.The channel had acquired the format rights to the live reality show from Keshet International

In its debut season, the show featured participants from countries like the USA, Russia, Indonesia, and others. It also got mentioned in BARC India’s top 5 programs chart in Hind GEC market. The debut season featured Shankar Mahadevan, Monali Thakur, and Dilijit Dosanjh.
