Colors becomes top GEC in urban HSM in week 38
MUMBAI: Hindi GEC Colors grabbed the top spot in the urban HSM on the back of the grand finale of its new dance reality show Dance Deewane and Naagin season 3, as per BARC India data for week 38.
Colors witnessed a 9.95% jump in viewership with 47.43 million impressions in week 38 compared to 43.14 million impressions in the previous week.
Sony Entertainment Television (SET), which was the number 1 channel for two consecutive weeks, has slipped to the third position while Star Plus maintained its second rank. There was an exchange of positions between four channels.
Top 5 shows in urban HSM
Colors’ Naagin 3 and Dance Deewane grand finale were the top 5 most watched shows followed by Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ dropped to the fourth position while Sony Sab’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ entered the fifth spot. Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ went out of the list.
Top 10 GECs in U+R HSM
Star Utsav replaced Zee TV at number 2 position while Colors climbed to the third position. Zee TV and Star Plus dropped to fourth and fifth positions respectively. SET jumped to the sixth position while Star Bharat and Sony Pal slipped to eight and ninth spot respectively.
Top 5 shows in U+R HSM
Colors ‘Naagin 3’ continued to rule the chart followed by Zee Anmol’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ in the second position. Colors’ ‘Dance Deewane Grand Finale’ entered the list at third position while Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ slipped to fourth and fifth positions respectively. Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ went out of the list.
Top 10 GECs in rural HSM
The rural chart witnessed only one change as Dangal TV moved to the fifth spot and Star Bharat slipped to the sixth rank. The rest of the chart remained unchanged.
Top 5 shows in rural HSM
Star Utsav’s ‘Rabba Ve’ climbed to the second spot while Zee Anmol’s ‘Mahek’ slipped to the third position followed by Sony Pal’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Colors’ ‘Naagin 3 ‘entered the list in the fifth spot. Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ went out of the list.
