BARC week 11: TV+OOH impressions increase to 16 bn led by news, kids, movie genres
MUMBAI: The total TV + OOH impressions have hit 16 billion in BARC week 11 from 15.2 billion in week 10. TV impressions have jumped to 15.9 billion from 15 billion. The news, kids, and movie genres have contributed to the upsurge in viewership.
Across genres top 10 channels
Colors and Big Magic have moved to sixth and seventh positions respectively. Zee TV and Sony Entertainment Television (SET) have dropped to eighth and tenth positions respectively. Nick has entered the table in the ninth position.
Top 10 Hindi GECs in urban + rural HSM
Colors has moved up to the fourth position while Big Magic has jumped to the fifth position. Zee TV and SET have slipped to sixth and seventh positions respectively.
Top 5 shows in urban + rural HSM
Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ has slipped to no. 4 position while Dangal’s ‘Pyar Ki Luka Chhupi’ has entered the table in the fifth position.
Top 10 Hindi GECs in rural HSM
Sony Sab and Star Plus have swapped positions while the rest of the table has remained unchanged.
Top 5 shows in rural HSM
‘Mahima Shanidevi Ki’ has become the most-watched show followed by ‘Devi Adi Parashakti’, ‘Baba Aiso Var Dhundo’, ‘Pyar Ki Luka Chhupi’, and ‘Bandini’.
Top 10 Hindi GECs in urban HSM
There was no change in the table with Sony Sab retaining the top position.
Top 5 shows in urban HSM
SET’s ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ entered the table while Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ moved out of the table.
